As a disabled man I've been very concerned about Fife Council's withdrawel of the homecare housework services. Of more concern is the way Fife council has implimented this, through the back door.

Several months ago some irresponsible member(s) of the public discarded two carrier bags full of bottles under the trees next to the footpath that goes through the woodland area at the south end of Grace Street allotments.

Reputation no longer stands up
When I started teaching in Fife over 30 years ago, the Council's education service had a director, an assistant and a secretary. Across the land, Fife had an unrivalled reputation in education.

While I welcome the news that the Chief Executives of Scotland's 32 local councils have agreed to forego any salary increases for 2010/2011, I would have been better pleased if the proposed freeze extended much further down local authority management pay scales.
